Stephen was a long-time TT club member and creator of the previous version of this website. I only knew Stephen a couple of years, but he was clearly a well known local character in Santa Cruz. I am still surprised by the number of different circles he made himself known and appreciated. There was a nice memorial a few months ago which many of these circles united to pay their respects.

I was shocked to see the news about Stephen. When I lived in Santa Cruz and played at the club, Stephen was an icon. That’s very sad news.
