First West Division matches of Major League Table Tennis to be played in Santa Cruz

The very, very new MLTT is kicking off the West schedule right here in Santa Cruz and the Kaiser Permanente Arena. Lots of tickets still available.

Update about new Major League TT in USA

The first teams were announced and include West Coast teams from Portland and Seattle, along with East Coast, Carolina and Princeton. Season is September to March with final competition in April. Rest of teams announce next week. Check out the MLTT site for more info.

First US Pro TT League Launch

This is NOT an April Fool’s joke. First draft is happening this summer. Not clear yet where the teams will be based, but seems like an exciting prospect for the US to finally do well on the international stage. Should help develop players and encourage new players.
